New Free Meditation Course starts Tuesday 7 February
Amitabha Foundation is pleased to welcome anyone interested in learning to meditate, as well as experienced meditators wanting to refresh their practice or learn new techniques, to a free 5 week evening course starting Tuesday 7 February 7-8pm. No registration is necessary - just come along. Nothing to bring - chairs and cushions provided. We are also starting our on-going courses that week. "Continuing Meditation - the Insights of Buddhism", for those with some experience of meditation but new to Buddhism, on Tuesdays 11am- 12 noon starting 7 Feb, repeated Wednesday 7-8pm starting 8 Feb. For those with some knowledge of or commitment to Buddhism, our Friday group from 7.30pm - 9.00pm starts 10 Feb and studies fundamental texts in Tibetan Buddhism including Patrul Rinpoche's "Words of My Perfect Teacher." And we continue to welcome everyone to free, public drop-in meditation sessions every Friday 6-7pm and Sunday 9.30-10.30am. All our activities are held at the Amitabha Foundation - a lovely old church converted to a meditation hall at the corner of Edgeworth David Ave and Palmerstone Rd., Waitara. Parking is available in the grounds or nearby streets and we are 10 minutes walk from Waitara station.)
