Every Tuesday evening from 7-8pm, starting 7 Feb and finishing 6 March. (5 weeks.)

The Amitabha Foundation welcomes people of all religious faiths - and none - to our meditation courses.  The techniques taught are from the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, tried and proven over hundreds of years. Meditation can help with many health and stress issues. It is also part of every major spiritual tradition and many students attending these courses are particularly interested in exploring how Buddhism can help them in their lives. Experienced meditators also attend these courses, sometimes to learn new approaches from a different tradition, sometimes to re-inspire their practice and connect with like-minded people. The course covers a number of different meditation techniques so that individual students can discover what best suits them. We also offer guidance on establishing and maintaining a meditation practice, and working with the ups and downs of sustained practice. After completing this course you are welcome to join us on Friday evenings or Sunday mornings for an hour of peaceful meditation in the beautiful old church which is now our meditation hall or gompa.
